In 2019, Phu Yen Tourism continues to achieve new milestones compared to the goals and plans set out at the beginning of the year. In particular, the promotion activities have been promoted and brought good effects, contributing to attracting tourists to Phu Yen.
Positive effect 
One of the outstanding results of the tourism sector in 2019 is the promotion activity. Seminar on connecting tourist routes, destinations in Phu Yen and South Central, Phu Yen hosted a review of five-year tourism development cooperation program between Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces of Binh Dinh, Phu Yen and Ninh Thuan ( the period 2013-2018 and directions for cooperation in the period 2019-2023); thereby opening up the trend of links, rich and diverse cooperation.
In 2019, Phu Yen Tourism has strongly participated in international tourism fairs: Vietnam International Tourism Fair VITM Hanoi 2019, VITM Can Tho 2019, ITE HCMC International Tourism Fair 2019, Conference of investment promotion and promoting tourism in the Central Coast region in Thua Thien - Hue. These are good opportunities for tourists, domestic and international travel agencies to know more about Phu Yen tourism. 
There are three famtrip delegations coming to Phu Yen, including the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism with 30 travel agencies and provincial presses coming to survey Phu Yen tourism products; delegation of airlines and international travel agencies exploring tourism potential and signing commitment to cooperate in developing and expanding the international tourist market to Tuy Hoa City and the famtrip delegation of Dong Nai tourism. Through these meetings, in addition to the responsible agencies and localities that signed the memorandum, businesses have also found many opportunities to work together to develop products and attract tourists. 
Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen has promoted the coordination with media agencies inside and outside the province to carry out television programs, reportages, columns introducing tourism products and destinations of Phu Yen. Mr. Pham Van Bay, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Yen, said “the promotion activities have being invested and promoted effectively by the tourism sector. In addition to the programs with budget support, tourism associations and businesses are also aware of investing in this work. Besides the strength of the sea and islands, cultural heritage, one more of outstanding point of Phu Yen tourism is the culinary culture. Local culinary culture is recognized by experts as diverse, rich and characteristic.
In an interview with Chef Ly Sanh, Chairman of Saigon Professional Chef Association, he has made a very subtle comment about Phu Yen culinary culture. “Phu Yen is plentiful, rich in ingredients and culinary culture because it has many terrains: mountains, plains and seas; as a long-established land with many layers of culture and the co-existence of many ethnic groups, this thing has created unique dishes”, chef Ly Sanh shared.
